The Next Morning when Quinn wakes up:
Quinn: -Wakes up to hear Sam talking on the phone-
Sam: -Talking on the phone after taking his shower- Yes, we need another day alone as a family. Why can't you understand that? I am sorry mom but something came up. Plus, I told you that I wasn't going home shopping with you.

PC Mary: But Sam, we want to do it as a family. Bring Quinn and Beth. Please?
Sam: Mom, me and Quinn had problems last night and we just need a day alone. Please understand. Mom, I get you want to do this as a family thing but my family includes Beth and Quinn now. They need me here in private.
PC Mary: Sam, I want to do this with you. We are moving here to be with you and to help you. We are doing you a favor.
Sam: Me a favor? Mom, I never asked you to come back. You didn't have to. I was happy with just Quinn and Beth. You came back because you wanted to as well.
PC Mary: Just come Sam, we need your advice.
Sam: I told you that if you wanted me to come, you need to tell me in advance. I already made plans with Quinn.
PC Mary: To stay in your room?
Sam: Mom, you don't understand. We had a disagreement. What don't you get about that? I need a day with my wife and daughter to clear everything up. I have my own priorities right now. You do your job and find a house for your family.
PC Mary: You are my son and my family. I want your help to find a family home for us.
Sam: I am not going to live with you mom so it doesn't matter. This is the last I say about it. Goodbye. -Hangs up mad-
Quinn: -Looks at him- Looks like our day is ging to start off on a bad foot.
Sam: -Turns around to look at him and sighs- Did I wake you up?
