Mary: Sam...she can take care of herself with her mom's help.
Sam: And me, am I allowed to take care of my own daughter and help my wife? I want to help raise my daughter, my way. I have that right and you don't have the right to tell me to go somewhere anymore.
Mary: -Looks at him- Pardon me? I can't tell you to go to school? To come see me when I need you?
Sam: Right now, my daughter needs memore. You told me you would stay because you wanted us to be together in the same town knowing that I need to be here with my daughter. And that is where I am going to stay. With my daughter today.

Sam: Stop saying that you are doing me a favour by moving here. I said I was fine here with Quinn and Beth. I have family here mom.
Mary: Who?
Sam: My wife, my daughter, my mother-in-law. I have my Glee family, my friends.
Mary: And what about us Sam? We want to spend time with you but all you are doing is spending time in the baement.
Sam: Yes, in my basement appartment. My home that I worked hard to build. I want to enjoy it with my wife. Now, I do not want to hear another word of this.
